other one with minimalist ingredient lists (less likely to be problematic and easier to narrow down culprits) like Vanicream, Cerave, La Roche Posay T

No super hot water! If his skin is anywhere from normal to oily, I'd say Cerave Foam Cleanser,+
or Vanicream cleanser, Eucerin ph5 body and face cleanser, or Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Foaming cleanser. If his skin is dry to dry/combo, then I'd say
