Nerve pain is also not talked about much and can catch you by surprise. All are normal parts of healing but it still is a surprise when it occurs.

I have a similar issue and the best is the hemp oil from Elf and Aquaphor. They are dry af and sometimes swell overnight. Not sure on root cause.
