for me, it's the base coat that matters the most- I do my nailtiques 2, then orly
bonder, then whatever polish, then a good qdtc (usually seche vite).

I love Seche Vive bc it is thick, but w/holos I just tc then add a layer of the polish again

depends on so much! But I can tell you that using a sticky base coat for me is+
paramount for a longer lasting mani. For the record, I use the red bottle SH Instadry if I am doing a holo and otherwise love seche vite

You are supposed to use it over a dry mani, and the selling point is how fast it drys. But most top coats dry quickly if your mani is dry anyway. The
