Nail tek Hydrate 3 or Nailtiques Formula 3 (not 2) work great on my dry hard nails.++
They are less brittle and less prone to chipping. I've been using either of these religiously for 2 yrs.

I don't understand on file the back. I do file the tops of peeling layers with a small Nail Tek
Glass file. I also polish the base coat from the top edge towards the back to hopefully fill in the potential peel sites. Hope this makes sense. I
