I'm older (68) and have gone back to cake eyeliner, the kind in a dry cake that you add water ++
to. The beauty is, you can create the texture you like, can be thinner/thicker; you can try different brushes. Another nice thing is it lasts FOREVER.

Tightlining with a pencil can deposit on contacts, I wouldn't recommend. You may need ++
to change your eyeliner application. Maybe look at cake eyeliner (water activated) with a very fine brush. I use the Make Up Forever Extra Fine eyelin

Unpopular opinion here: Strong makeup brows are not universally flattering. Creating +
a look that is strongly defined, darker and thick when you are born with a soft, gentle and fine brow can dominate your face, and not in a good way.
