How long have you tried using it? I only ask because it took me 3 mo to stop purging from Differin+
of course, it's always YMMV so perhaps it's not purging for you...but I'm not sure what in the formula could be causing you to break out otherwise.

3rd. OTC Differin is stronger than OTC retinol. Differin (adapalene) is however allegedly less+
irritating than Rx tretinoin. YMMV, though. My skin prefers Rx tretinoin, and OTC retinol does pretty much nada for me.

Differin did not work for me. I broke out constantly and I never break out any longer.+
For me it was something they added to the formula.
