I think it's too soon to say since I've only been using Retin A for a couple of weeks. I do find+
the Retin A more drying compared to Differin but I haven't noticed any advantages from switching to Retin A thus far. They both seem to work well.

Yes I think that will help! Just start really slow with the differin! 2-3x per week until
Tolerance is built up! It can also be irritating but I personally find it far less irritating than the prescription only retinoids

I’m not a teen but I recommend differin gel, panoxyl 4% cleanser, and Cerave PM moisturizer for acne
Prone oily skin. Also Vanicream cleanser, Australian gold tinted sunscreen (it’s actually mattifying)
