My fave sponge is the L'oreal pink one. Have you tried oval brushes? (Artis dupes) ++
they are super fast and don't require buffing. Also, see my Notepad for lots of recs on dealing with dehydrated skin.

None of the knock-offs I've tried are as good as Artis; however...
While I love the finish and ease of blending with these, they are a real pain to clean which makes me not reach for them very much.

I love my Artis Mini palm for base, but won’t probably buy anymore. Haven’t tried dupes.
