we dont have amlactin in canada. we have lac-hydrin & i have used that in the past, but it +
eventually stopped working after several bottles. the only thing i've found that helps is sunscreen actually. must be the occlusive aspect of it.

I'd say both, but the exfoliation really needs to be chemical (lactic acid, glycolic, etc)+
and the hydration needs to be mostly humectants like urea and lactic acid, a little glycerin. I think this is why stuff like Eucerin Professional Rou
