How funny, this 2a has just been playing with it and bought another mini to keep experimenting+++
It is NOT a miracle. I didn't suddenly have perfect smooth bouncy hair. But, I am not hating it and my hair has tended to be less cotton candy ish.

Try using less heat and holding it for a few secs before releasing the brush/curl. Then ++
Don’t brush through that section again. Let it cool completely and move onto the next section and repeat. I like to section my hair at least into top
