I had the very same problem. I did a series of 12.5 percent TCA
peels on my eyelids and under my eyes. Obviously you can have a dermatologist do it because that would be safer. I know I can DIY safely so I have.

Agree w/ using extremely bland products like Free & Clear and maybe Cerave Foaming+
and yes, get mental health help. Using Dove or Acure would not turn blonde hair gray, cause fungus, or any other of the dramatic effects you describe
