I got some sample of this gel cream at the mall the other day hoping that it'll live up to its name. I've never used or even tried the original Creme de La Mer because I always think it's too rich...

Instead of petrolatum and mineral oil the base of the gel-cream is made up of glycerin, aloe vera water/plant extracts...it's definitely lighter than the original Creme de la Mer, but take note...
