very pointy and fine as expected. However it does smudge, and it needs to be sharpen VERY FREQUENTLY. I don't think it is worth its price for a drugstore product.

This pencil is no good. It smudges under my eyes *a lot* and it needs to be sharpened way too frequently. The sharpener is a pain in the behind to empty also. I prefer twist up liners or liquids.
