My hair is low porosity and has a hard time absorbing moisture. I need glycerin, light oils, ++
and no protein, coconut, or aloe. It might be worth experimenting by removing products containing protein and playing with different humectants.

Just be judicious with the protein. Protein overload is a real thing for those who are ++=
