Yes, demi (deposit only) do run dark as there is no lift. If you look at the reviews here many Ion +
users suggest going up/lighter shade. I also suggest strand testing.

I would go to Sally's over the drugstore. Maybe look at Ion demi (deposit only) or Wella Colour +
Charm toners. I would do a test strand first.
