Crabtree & Evelyn was founded in 1972 by Cyrus Harvey. It began as a small family business in Cambridge, MA selling high-quality soaps. Since then the company has grown globally and retails body, fragrance and home care products in its stores worldwide. In 2016 the brand was acquired by Nan Kai Corporation of Hong Kong.
